Your online presence matters

Have you ever considered starting an online business? Or better leveraging online opportunities to market, sell, and systematize your services?

When I started my company in 2014, I didn’t have a clue about online businesses.

I had an idea as to what I wanted to do and how, but I didn’t know if it was possible. I did research and started following others who seemed to have online platforms like the one I wanted to create.

When I told friends, family and colleagues what I wanted to do, they looked at me like I’d lost my mind. They didn’t believe it was a legitimate business model. And they encouraged me to stick to the tried and true methods of how it’s always been done before…

They wanted me to play it safe and follow the path that they saw as legitimate.

Of course, I’m stubborn and don’t let others’ fears hold me back, so I went all in. Within a month, I had a domain, landing page, email list, and was promoting a free teleclass where I pitched a 4-week telecourse on goal setting.

To think that was less than 5 years ago!

I had NO idea what I was doing back then but I made it work and eventually figured out how the heck to actually build this thing.
