Ready to make 2019 your breakout year?
You know what you want your life and legal career to look like but you're wondering if it's even possible.
You look around and the really successful attorneys seem to be overwhelmed, exhausted, jaded, and in a perpetual bad mood. Somedays you find yourself feeling like that too...
You want success, but not like that.
If no one is role modeling what you want, how do you create it for yourself?
If you want to create something different, you have to approach it differently.
As lawyers, we're taught how to solve problems, but sometimes we're so close to our own that we can't see the big picture.
We need a structured framework to follow so that we can have creative breakthroughs. We need honest, strategic feedback so we can see the blindspots in our thinking.
And perhaps what we need most is simply time away to really think about what's next and how to make our vision a reality.
If you were guaranteed success, what changes would you make in life and law?
Most attorneys will lose another year of their lives hoping things will improve without taking action to make that happen.
Many will tell themselves they don't have the time or can't make changes because of their specific situation.
Others will say they'll come up with a plan on their own, but then get so busy that they'll soon find another year has passed them by...
If you want to make sure that 2019 is a year of intention and action, as opposed to one full of excuses and overwhelm, come join us for Life & Law LIVE.

Frequently Asked Questions
Question 1 -- Is Life & Law LIVE right for me?
Unlike prior events hosted by Heather Hubbard (which were limited to partner-level female attorneys), Life & Law LIVE is open to ALL attorneys. Whether you've been practicing for 1 year or 30, you're a man or woman, in-house or private practice, AmLaw 100 or solo, you'll find this event to be inclusive and welcoming. If you're looking for a fresh perspective and a fun time planning for your future - in life and law - this is where you want to be! If you're not willing to participate and think outside the box, have honest conversations, and support those in attendance OR if you're just looking for a fall getaway to relax by the pool and blow off the programming, this event is NOT for you. We're here to do work that matters in a supportive environment.
Question 2 -- What exactly will the workshop cover?
Life & Law LIVE is an interactive workshop designed to help you create a long and short-term personal and professional strategic plan. Through exercises and group coaching, you'll know exactly what to focus on in 2019 (along with a plan to execute). If you've ever found yourself struggling to figure out where you should be spending your time to achieve the career and life you truly desire, this is exactly what you'll uncover at Life & Law LIVE.
Question 3 - How much CLE credit can I get?
The programming has been approved for 10.25 hours of dual credit (regular + professionalism/ethics) in Tennessee. Many states provide automatic reciprocity while others require that you submit specific applications for approval. Check your jurisdiction for details. Credit will be submitted on behalf of Tennessee attorneys. A Uniform Certificate of Attendance will be provided to attorneys from all other jurisdictions.
Question 4 -- What are the hotel options?
We have a limited room block at the venue, The Camby Hotel, for $179 per night (plus taxes). In addition, there are many hotels near the venue with varying price points so you can easily find a place that meets your budget and preferences.
Question 5 -- What is the refund policy?
No refunds will be given for cancellations. A substitute may, however, attend in the place of participant at no extra charge. You can access a complete copy of the Terms and Conditions HERE.
