#122: How Big Are Your Dreams?

If you’re a woman or minority, you’ve probably been added to a pitch team at the last minute. Whether expressly stated, you know you’ve been brought in as the “diversity add.” While you might be grateful for the opportunity, it’s difficult to stand out and shine when you’re given less time to prepare and not included in developing the initial strategy. In today’s episode, I’m sharing my best tips on how to handle these situations.

Things you’ll learn in this episode:

  • Why children are encouraged to dream big but adults are encouraged to settle
  • The correlation between dreaming big and finding it difficult to “belong”
  • What would happen if you really gave yourself permission to dream again?
  • What to do if you have big dreams and you’re ready to make them a reality
