3 lessons from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
What did you do this weekend?
Put up a Christmas tree, go grocery shopping for a big Thanksgiving dinner, start shopping for presents?
I wasn’t quite ready for all that so I kicked off the holidays by watching one of my all-time favorite movies, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation!
Given that Thanksgiving is this week, I thought I’d share 3 lessons from Christmas Vacation to help you get through your next large family gathering with as much grace and ease as possible.
In this week’s video, I explain why it’s important to:
1. Give grace (yes, I know she died 30 years ago)
2. Hide presents in the attic (dress-up and old movies optional)
3. Light up the entire neighborhood
If all else fails, try watching National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation with your family and see if a little laughter doesn’t help bring everyone together 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving!!!
