It’s Goals Season and I Have BIG News!

Oh my goodness! It’s 2016 and “goals season” is in full swing.

There’s a lot going on at The Language of Joy and I have some BIG news to share, but first I want to talk about goals.

I love goals. I’m obsessed with goals.

If I had to name my favorite hobby or pastime, it would probably be planning and strategizing about goals, especially BIG goals. I know, it’s odd. But it’s so much fun!

And I’m sharing some of my best goals tips and tools with you in my free live online workshops this week.

If you haven’t yet signed up for one of my online workshops, do so now!

The first workshop is TODAY at 5pm CST and another one is scheduled for this Thursday at 11am CST.

In each live workshop, I’ll share my top 3 tips for setting and reaching any goal you desire in 2016. I’ll cover:

  • How to get clear on the best goals for you
  • How to stay laser-focused on your goals to ensure success
  • How to remain motivated all year long

I’ll be answering all of your burning questions throughout the workshop and I’m offering some free goodies to those that attend live, so be sure to register and show up!

If you’re ready to make 2016 your best year yet, this free workshop will help you get started on the right foot.

Speaking of goals, I reached some new milestones and created some new priorities for 2016 that I want to share with you.

First, and I’m pretty darn excited about this one…I’m officially a Huffington Post blogger!!!!

It was on my goal’s list for 2015 and just a few days’ shy of the New Year (on my birthday to be exact), I received an email from Arianna Huffington inviting me to be a regular guest blogger. Yipee!!!!

I’m so over the moon about this opportunity and will be submitting my first article this week so be on the lookout for my HuffPost debut.

Second, I have a 3-part series being published in the Nashville Business Journal this month. The first article, Create lasting change in 2016. Here’s how, came out yesterday. You can check it out HERE.

Third, my infamous Vision Board Workshop (which should really be called a Party) is THIS Saturday in Nashville. There are still a few tickets left if you want to snag a spot. All you have to do is show up. I’ll provide all the materials, food/drinks, music and inspirational guidance. Sign up HERE.

Last, and I’m a little nervous about putting this out there… I’m writing a book this year!

I’m super excited about tackling this new endeavor but it will require time and attention away from other areas of my business, including my weekly blog.

I didn’t make this decision lightly but having followed my own goals process and determined my priorities for 2016, a weekly blog simply isn’t aligned with my goals.

I’m officially announcing that I’m moving to an every-other-week blog schedule in 2016.

The next blog will be posted on Tuesday, January 19.

Yes, I also changed the publishing date to Tuesdays for this year.

I found that I would start to stress out every Sunday evening as I thought about finalizing the Monday morning blog post.

I share this simply to let you know that it’s okay to change your mind. To reevaluate whether something is working. And then make changes based on what you need. The world will not stop. It’s OKAY to change even if others have become accustomed to your doing things a certain way.

It’s that simple. I promise.

Now it’s your turn.

Are you ready to get clear on your priorities and goals for 2016?

If yes, sign up for one of the free live online workshops this week.

Then leave a comment below and let me know what goals you’re thinking about for 2016!

Cheers!

Heather
