Goal setting — do this first
It’s the first day of December and you know what that means!
No, I’m not talking about holiday shopping, parties or the ridiculous amounts of candy and baked goods piling up in the office kitchen. I’m talking about goal setting!
If you struggle with setting goals and following through as the year progresses, I’m here to help you make 2017 different.
Each week this month I’ll send you a free worksheet and prompts to help you map out a plan for 2017 (and actually stick with it!).
Before you start thinking about what you want to achieve or change in 2017, do this first…
So many of us jump straight into planning where we want to go without being honest about where we are today.
But…
“If you don’t know where you are, a map won’t help.”
~ Watts Humphrey
To help get you started in the planning process, I’ve created a short two-page “inventory” worksheet for you to complete. It’s not the same type of exhaustive inventory I take my private clients through, but it’s a great way to begin reflecting on 2016. You can download your free copy here.
If you want an even more in-depth review, check out my year-in-review blog post from last year. It’s all about how to review and release what is no longer serving you so you don’t carry that baggage with you into the new year.
I’ll be back next week to help you map out exactly what you want and share a simple process to achieve even your biggest goals!
