Channeling my inner Oprah

 

For the first time ever, I have no presents under my Christmas tree…

And it feels really weird.

Most of my family and nieces and nephews have asked for gift cards this year (b-o-r-i-n-g) so there are literally no wrapped gifts with bows in my house.

As I was watching football this weekend (my Titans pulled out an amazing win with only a few seconds to spare), I kept looking at my empty tree wondering how else I could give.

I made some donations but that didn’t feel like enough. Something still felt missing.

And then it hit me!

I could give something to you.

Even though it wouldn’t involve a physical present to wrap, I could give you something perhaps more powerful.

My presence.

I’m not going to overthink this. I’m just doing it. I’ve blocked off 12 free coaching sessions this week and next.

It’s sort of like the 12 Days of Christmas…
