How to get more client leads
It’s the first Tuesday of the month so you know what that means – Listener Q&A!
Today’s question comes from Whitney.
She recently moved to a new city and has a solo family law practice. She asked if I would share ideas on how she could get more client leads, especially since she’s new to her area.
You bet!
Although my advice is specific to Whitney, if you could use more client leads (whether you’re a solo or in a large firm), you’ll benefit from this episode.
I walk through a specific two-pronged approach that I think will be best for her: (a) long-term relationship building strategy and (b) a short-term sales funnel strategy.
If you’ve ever felt like:
- You have a hard time getting friends and acquaintances to hire you
- You don’t know where to begin to get consistent client leads
- You spend hours on consults just for the person not to hire you or try to do the work themselves
- You have to take every client that walks through the door because you’re desperate for work
I want you to listen to this episode – like right now.
There are so many good nuggets of gold in this one!
This week’s episode also comes with a free checklist and resource list.
After you listen to the episode and review the checklist, choose just one action you want to start implementing now. Then come back here and let me know what you’re doing and by when.
And speaking of business development…
If growing your book of business is a goal for 2018, I want to invite you to apply for my year-long Mastermind.
The Mastermind is a carefully curated group of women on the rise. They want to increase their books of business as well as provide support and encouragement to others doing the same.
Let me warn you. It’s intense.
In addition to two in-person meetings with the group, we meet via video conference for monthly training, office hours, and individual coaching.
But if you’re an ambitious attorney with a big heart and you’re desperate for strategic advice and a group of like-minded women who have your back, this program will be a game-changer.
It’s worth every penny and minute invested.
The Mastermind sold out last year and I had to turn away many qualified applicants. I’m certain it will sell out again.
In fact, half the spots have already been reserved by current clients that were invited to apply early.
Applications will be accepted from today until October 31.
If you’d like to be considered for this opportunity, you can apply here.
All my best,
Heather
