What’s your top 5?

Do you remember what you were doing this time 10 years ago?

I remember it so well.

About to turn 30, I was reflecting on how far I’d come in my 20s.

I had achieved so much! And, yet, I wasn’t satisfied.

There were so many things I hadn’t accomplished and I was feeling a bit down and out.

It was then that I decided it was time to do something outside my comfort zone – to prove to myself that I could still do anything. I needed to know that I hadn’t hit my peak (hilarious and obnoxious, right?)

So, I decided to sign up for a half-marathon. If you’ve listened to Episode 1 of the Hustle & Flow podcast, you know how that story ends

Little did I know that decision (and so many things I didn’t choose) would be the start of the worst year of my life. The year that would change everything in so many different ways.

Since then, my life (personally and professionally) has been a bit of a whirlwind.

I’ve experienced the highest of highs and lowest of lows.

Although we have different journeys, I bet a lot has changed in your life over the last decade as well.

Instead of skimming past it and just moving on to the next thing, I invite you to join me in reflecting on the last ten years so that you can fully prepare for the next.

In today’s episode, I walk you through a process to help you evaluate your wins, losses, and lessons.

Here are the top 5 lessons I’ve learned:

  1. Nothing is impossible.
  2. The most important person to please is yourself.
  3. “Life is short, make fun of it!”

Okay, so that was a bit of a tease. You’ll have to listen to today’s episode to hear the rest of my list (and what the third one is all about). 😊

Listen to the episode HERE and then hit me up on Facebook or Instagram and let me know your top 5 lessons! I’d love to know what you come up with.
