#70: Creative problem-solving
As lawyers, we have to fight the negative stories we’ve learned about creativity. We’ve been taught to see right-brained thinking as useless, illogical, feminine, and weak. In this episode, I’m sharing why I think creativity is desperately needed in the law and how you can begin to give your right side of the brain a chance to flourish.
Things you will learn in this episode:
- Why creativity is lacking in the legal industry
- The reasons many of us stop doing the creative things we used to love
- How right-brained thinking can help lawyers (and the legal industry) solve problems
- Ways to help your brain get into a creative thinking space
